Chris Lane has got down to Morton Bagot this morning, and found the first Greenshank of the year plus a Redstart and a Yellow Wagtail.
A good start to the month.

Green Sandpiper over the Matthewman's yesterday evening (Aug 31st), heading for the flashes. Not sure how regular they are Richard?, so thought worthy of mention. Cheers, Ashley Grove
ReplyDeleteHi Ashley, Thanks for the record. They are certainly the commonest migrant wader occurring at Morton Bagot, with a peak in July and Aug which can reach regionally significant counts in the mid teens.
